"Where shall I start?

We had a fabulous week - great skiing and fantastic weather. The apartment is lovely and situated so beautifully for views and proximity to slopes. Very impressed with the quality and location of it and the services of Ski La Source in general.

We all had ESF lessons, arranged by Linda. Soph did her Class 2, Norman was in a Class 1 group and I had some private lessons with an instructor, as were are all at different levels ( I was the lowest of course!) so we all met in with different people and had a great time. We thought the village atmosphere was super. Their lessons included slaloms and half-pipes and skiing up to the glacier - we have some great photos.

I drove to La Plagne one evening, just to see what it was really like as I did not venture that far on the slopes, (the second chairlift was as far as I went!!). It was 'interesting' but I was so pleased that we had opted to stay in Les Coches, much more our thing.

Would definitely recommend it to anyone."

"The Hobson family stayed at Le Boulier, Les Coches March 08 and found the apartment to be of a very high standard with one of the best views you could wish for.

The location of the apartment was perfect especially if you have kids because the slopes & ski school are only 50 metres away great when you have tired feet or kids.

Les Coches is a lovely resort with everything you need without been too commercial although the village shops & restaurants are a good walk from the apartment which is probably only inconvenient if you have children & no car but the Spar do deliver fresh bread & croissants to the door with many take away delivery services.

The ski area is great for all levels with good links to La plagne although you do need to allow good time to get there & back if you do venture over there.

Finally La Source really make it easy by arranging your lessons, lift passes & ski equipment & are always available to help with anything you may require.

"We found that the accommodation was extremely well equipped, warm and comfortable for our first family skiing holiday. The apartment is housed in a family friendly block, from the boot room being located on the top floor which, as this is closer to the gondola, avoids long periods of carrying all the kids gear as well as your own. Also as the apartment is at the end of the floor that means there is no over head apartment making for a quiet and relaxing stay. We chose to eat in most evenings and the kitchen equipment was more than adequate for this but when we did decide to eat out there was plenty of restaurants within Les Coches that offered ample choice. The children were booked into snow club [crèche and ski lessons] and the lunch club which meant that me and Valerie had from 9 until 2:30pm for skiing - excellent!! Les Coches is a predominantly a French speaking resort so the help from Ski La Source in arranging the child care was essential and certainly made for a stress free holiday.

The resort is ideally situated for easy access to La Plagne and Les Arcs and both resorts offer excellent skiing for all capabilities.

I have already recommended this to my friends and look forward to going back. "
